José Nederhand, MSc has been rewarded The Osborne Beste Paper Award for her paper (with dr. Ingmar Meerkerk) on ‘Governmental framing of citizens in welvare services: partners or clients?’ at the IRSPM Conference 2016 in Hong Kong. The paper focuses on the question whether the Dutch national government frames citizens more prominently as partner in the production of welfare services than as customers and how this is reflected in the governance strategies that the government proposes.
